Online Proctored Exams

Online proctoring is only used in certain courses and may not be required for your course. Please review your course syllabus for proctoring requirements.

Proctoring helps us to confirm that the person taking exams in an online course is the same person who is registered for and earning credit for the course.

The proctoring software also automatically flags certain test-taker behaviors that the software providers have defined as suspicious, and which may indicate cheating. Flagged behaviors will be reviewed within 1-2 days of exam submission. If an instructor has questions about your exam record, they will reach out to you.

Students need to contact the Director of Disability Services at [email protected] at least 3 business days prior to the date of testing.  Once the testing appointment has been set with Gwendolyn, students need to let the professor that they will be utilizing their accommodation and when they are scheduled to take their exam.
