Funded by the National Science Foundation, the Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program at Doane University provides scholarships, stipends, and programmatic support to recruit and prepare STEM majors and professionals to become teachers in high-need secondary schools. Project SERVE was launched to address the profound need for exceptional educators in urban and rural areas across Nebraska, and our country. Project SERVE's Noyce Scholars

The Noyce program recruits talented individuals who are passionate about teaching STEM in high-need secondary schools. Noyce Scholars commit to two years of service as a mathematics of science teacher for each year of scholarship or stipend received. The goal of the Noyce Scholarship program is to improve the quality and persistence of STEM teaching in both rural and urban school districts.
