While the name "Homecoming" may lend itself to the belief that this epic event is exclusively aimed at alumni returning to their alma mater, it's equally special for Doane's current students!
Between the Student Programming Board, Greek Life, Division of Student Affairs, and many other campus partners, the week is filled with countless opportunities for our Tigers to celebrate Doane and its 152nd year.

- Noon - 9 p.m. // Decorating Perry Campus Center
Meet at the PCC Student Affairs pod.
Students are encouraged to assist in decorating windows, sidewalks, and more for Homecoming Week to show our Tiger Spirit! Students may begin their Homecoming banners and shields in Nyrop in hopes of winning the Spirit Cup!
Monday, October 14th
- 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. // Decorating Perry Campus Center
Meet at the PCC Student Affairs pod inside Perry Memorial Campus Center.

Don't miss comedian Derrick Knopsnyder or the student-designed Homecoming T-shirt giveaway!
Students are all invited to celebrate the kick-off of Homecoming Week on campus! There will be inflatables, carnival games, prizes, an outdoor meal, an ice cream truck, and much more!
Tuesday, October 15th

George and Sally Haddix Recreation and Athletic Center
Students are encouraged to head to Haddix to enjoy student vs. employee basketball fun, giveaways, food, and more. FREE T-shirts for the first 100 guests. DON'T MISS THIS FUN EVENT! - 9 - 10:30 p.m. // Bonfire
Off-campus event at Tuxedo Park. Students may drive themselves or catch a ride in a Doane van for free transportation.
Students are invited to Tuxedo Park for a bonfire—complete with cider, s'mores, music, general Tiger pride, and potential surprises for the first 50 attendees! Rideshare is available via Doane Passenger vans from the Communications Parking Lot! (More information to come!)
Wednesday, October 16th
- 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. // Employer Connections Event
Registration in the lower level of Perry Campus Center, near Nyrop Hall
More than 35 employers will be on campus for students to visit with and learn more about. - 9 p.m. // The Amazing Race
Begin at Lakeside Patio, outside the lower level of Perry Memorial Campus Center
Get your instructions at the Lakeside Patio. This fast-paced event will take place in teams of 2 and begins at 9 PM. $600 in Prizes to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams!
Thursday, October 17th
- 8 - 11 p.m. // Homecoming Dance

Friday, October 18th
- 8 - 9:30 p.m. // Homecoming Pep Rally and Royalty Coronation
Haddix Center
General Tiger pride will be on full display! Featuring performances by the Doane Band and Doane Dance & Cheer, Student Organization Skit Competition, rousing speeches by Coach Johnson and the Tiger Football captains, introductions of the 2024 Homecoming Royalty Court (and subsequent Coronation of the Duke & Duchess), announcement of the 2024 Shield and Banner winners, announcement of the 2025 Relay for Life theme, free pizza, prizes, and so much more!
Saturday, October 19th
- 9 - 11 p.m. // Big Bucks Bingo
Lakeside
Students are welcome to come to Lakeside for a night of BINGO fun with many exciting prizes to be won! Cookies and Canes will be provided while supplies last.
Sunday, October 20th
- 3 p.m. // Annual Homecoming Concert featuring the Doane Choir and Doane Concert Band
