Doane University offers online courses through Acadeum, a consortium of like-minded accredited colleges and universities that share online course offerings. You can access a list of pre-approved online consortium courses here. A course taken through this consortium is considered institutional credit and will impact student grade-point averages just like a Doane course.
Acadeum Course Listing and Registration
Students must click the link, sign up for an account using their Doane student email, verify their Doane student email, and register for pre-approved courses. Please note that all registrations are still dependent on Doane approval on a student-by-student basis. Important Notes about Acadeum Courses:
- You will not be able to access the consortium course through Doane's Canvas system; instead, you must log into the consortium school's learning platform. You will receive your log-in credentials about a week before the course starts, so please check your Doane email (and SPAM folder) regularly.
- Your consortium course term dates may be different than Doane's, so please be mindful of your course start and end dates.
- Once you have access to your consortium course, it is strongly recommended that you read through the course assignments, policies, due dates, etc. in advance of the course starting so that you are acclimated to timelines and requirements. Your consortium course instructor is available to assist you with any questions about your course.
